Black and White photography can work very well if used for the right shot. It can add to a picture, give it more impact in black and white rather than colour. Take a look at the rest below... |

Creative Koolcats
This sort of design has a deliberate mystery to it. The eyes have been more distorted than the rest. I like the element of mystery sometimes in design. |
A similar thing going on here, there is what appears to be a male silouette which has again been distorted and gives the idea an element of mystery. |
Half and Half. Half black and white sketch/photo and half of what appears like a colouring in line drawing. A mixture of elements like this can work well. |
Two colours, make a third colour. The image looks blurred becaue of this and almost like the boxer is moving. Effective and easy to do. |
Another distorted image of a male face. The effect almost looks like ripples on the surface of water. |
Cut out shapes of paper, layered on top of each other are very effective. Creates shadows and gives it some depth. |
simple cut out piece of paper. Simple, yet effective. |

More creative design I like...
The vintage, rustic, used look I have always liked. It gives some sense of style and helps the designer communicate the intentions of the design. |
Rather unusual idea, quite random, the colours work well and I like how the transparency of one shows up on the image behind. |
In design I never get bored with objects that make other objects, they can look so effective and well thought out. |

More photography
There is so much empty space around the tree in this photograph that it gives off a feeling of calmness or possible emptiness?
The photograph below could present an eerie shot, would not want to be there alone! The trees fade in the background in the mist/fog.
