This is a brilliant video, shows how creative you can be with inks and other materials. The chinese Ink almost looks like smoke, very elegant and almost mesmerizing.

Socially Responsible advertising

I like this clever and simple method of advertising, it is promoting safe sex which is not being taken seriously by so many people. The cigarette packaging design using a coffin shape is very direct and explicit. I like it, it is powerful design.

We think we have it tough....

Scarification, being able to suffer the pain of deliberate scarring in certain tribes and religions helps to prove a man's masculinity that he can suffer that pain that makes scars that are seen as 'beautification' of the body.

This conveys how cruel the world can be and helps to put your own life in pespective. We take everything for granted, even our looks. Yet there are people out there who have had their taken away. Just think for one minute about how lucky you are. Similarly the image below illustrates this.

Medical treatment is very scarce. ill people are lucky to receive treatment in poor countries and 9 times out of 10 if they do it is through a charity who do not give up on such people. For example an illness we in the western world see as not life threatening to some it is the end if they contract it.

We are lucky compared with these poor people..
